Claudine Amason Talley, 101, passed away on February 4, 2017 in Lewisville, Texas. She was born on July 23, 1915 in Taft, Texas to Lonnie and Roxie Amason.
She married the late Roy Talley in Denton and was retired from Victor Equipment Company.
She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge # 241, Lady Optimist Club and a life time member of The Ladies Auxiliary of Veterans of Foreign Wars.
After the passing of her mother, her and her siblings moved to Texas to be raised by her Aunt and Uncle, Charlie and Viola Amason. She attended Lewisville Schools and worked around the farm doing various chores. Claudine moved to Denton at the age of 17. She married Bill Bryant but was widowed after twenty years of marriage. She later married Fred Deal, who passed away after twenty five years of marriage. She had two others marriages to Marshall Mordecai and Roy Talley. Claudine did not have any children but was cared for by her nieces and nephews.
She is survived by her step-son, Clifton Talley of Seymour, Texas, nieces and nephews; Herman and wife Margie Beaver of Wichita Falls, Texas, Dorothy Presnall of Lewisville, Jimmie and wife Norma Beaver of Jacksonville, Florida, Claudette and husband Bobby Blankenship of Lewisville, Texas, Billy and wife Sharon of Midland, Texas.
And many more nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husbands, Roy Talley, Henry "Bill" Bryant, Fred Deal and Marshall Moracai, her mother and father, aunt and uncle, Charlie and Viola Amason, sister, Minie Beaver and brother Tom Amason
Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Texas on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton, Texas.
