Cleolen Warnack, 85, of Sanger, Texas, passed away March 23, 2022, in Denton. He was born in southern Denton to Robert Edgar and James Della (Joplin) Warnack on February 4, 1937.

Cleolen graduated from Lewisville High School in 1955.  He began working at Simms-Moore Lumber Co in Lewisville in the early 60's before becoming the Director of Parks and Recreation for the City of Lewisville.  During that time, he built many parks, and athletic fields in the city of Lewisville.  He enjoyed his time playing fastpitch softball in the Lewisville and Denton Area for 25 plus years.  Cleo was involved with sports at the youth and high school level in Denton for many years as well.  He retired from Foxworth Galbraith Lumber Company in 2007 after 30 years of service in contractor sales.

Cleo and Judy are members of the Gateway Baptist Church in Denton. Where they've received so much precious support, prayers, cards, visits, and phone calls during this time.

Cleo married Judy Barlow on February 12, 1960, in Denton. He is survived by his wife; his son, Bret Barlow Warnack and wife Jennifer Ann Warnack of Denton; granddaughter, Brynn Warnack Wilson and husband Noel Thomas Wilson of Abilene; grandson Bryce Carson Warnack of Waco; one sister, Melba Taylor of Denton; a brother-in-law Weldon Clark; a sister-in-law Jan Barlow Provancha; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents; two brothers, Leon Warnack and Bobby Warnack; sisters, Urma Warnack, Donna Warnack, Mildred Fuller, Jean Anderson, and Faye Clark.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 27, 2022, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at DeBerry Funeral Directors, 2025 W. University in Denton.  A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 28, 2022, at 11:00am in Argyle at Prairie Mound Cemetery.
