Clyde James "Jim" Henderson, 74, of Corinth went to be with his Lord and Savior on June 28, 2017 in Denton, Texas. He was born on March 26, 1943 in Los Angeles, California. He was an active member at First Baptist Church of Corinth and Oakmont Country Club. He was a realtor for Century 21 Judge Fite. He was previously in the grocery business for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Cathy Henderson, daughter, Terri Clark and husband Chris of San Diego, California, sons; Jim Henderson and wife Tammee of Coppell, Texas, Doug Henderson of Plano, John Kelly and wife Tiffany of Denton, and Jeff Henderson of Frisco, two brothers; Daniel Henderson of Castle Rock, Colorado and Dennis Henderson of Durant, Oklahoma, 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Jim was preceded in death by his father and mother, James and Helen Henderson, and wife of 24 years, Sherry Henderson.
Jim was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great- grandfather, and brother. He loved family gatherings, playing golf, going to the movies, and going on cruises. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 3, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at the First Baptist Church of Corinth in Corinth, Texas. A private family graveside will be held prior to the memorial service.
