Clyde Odell Swaim, 74, of Denton passed away at his home on November 16, 2022. He was born in Dallas County to Clyde and Dorothy (White) Swaim.

Buddy loved his TCU Horned Frogs and Dallas Cowboys, the mountains of Colorado, and his #1 love was his wife, Martha, and of course Sammy the cocker spaniel. He loved his family. I always remember him being happy. He loved coaching my soccer teams, taking us to TCU games, and exciting road trips. He was an amazing uncle to Kendra and her family. He loved his nieces so much.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 19th, 2022 beginning at 3:00 P.M. at Shady Oaks Barbecue. Please wear TCU purple or Dallas Cowboys attire in Clyde's honor.

He is survived by his wife, Marta Swaim of Denton; daughter, Michelle Hollar and significant other, Andrea Long of Ft. Worth, Texas; sister, Norma Simon; brother, Gerry Swiam; favorite son, Sammy; extended family & a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father; and brother, Ricky Swaim.
