Cody Lane Garlington passed away in McKinney, Texas on Saturday, September 13, 2025. He was born in Ada, Oklahoma on March 27, 2002 to Lane and Jennifer Garlington

Cody was the definition of "just a good ole boy." He worked hard as a forklift operator, but his true joy came in the simple things—fixing up his car, shooting hoops, cracking open a cold one, and blasting his favorite music. He had a way of making people laugh and feel at home, no matter where they were.

Cody will be remembered for his genuine and kind heart. He was always the first to lend a hand, whether you were a lifelong friend or a complete stranger. He worked hard, loved big, and knew how to have a real good time.

A celebration of Cody's life will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at the Garlington family residence, where stories, laughter, tears, and love will be shared in his honor.

Cody is survived by his parents, Lane and Jennifer Garlington; his sisters, Rebecca Lynn and Katelynn Garlington; and a wide circle of family and friends who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.
