A Memorial Service will be held on March 10, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Bill DeBerry Funeral Directors, located at 2025 W. University Dr., Denton, Texas 76201, for Craig Guidry, 64, who passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at his home in Oak Point, Texas. A reception following the service will be announced at a later time.
Craig was born October 19, 1961 in Lafayette, Louisiana and resided at a family home in Oak Point, Texas. He graduated from Skyline High School in Dallas, Texas in 1979 and got his first job at Coca-Cola where he worked until his accident in 1984. He graduated from a computer programming course at El Centro Dallas. He was hired by IBM where he was employed for 15 years. Following his time at IBM, he was a Lector at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and volunteered his time in the 4th grade classroom at Immaculate Conception, at Loretto House in Denton and Victim Impact for Denton County. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Choir and Knights of Columbus.
He was a beloved son and a cherished figure in the lives of those who had the privilege of knowing him. Craig was known for his gentle spirit and unwavering kindness. His warmth touched the hearts of many, and his vibrant personality radiated joy to all who crossed his path.
He is survived by his devoted parents, Raymond and Myrna Guidry and his siblings Bryan, Sheri, Chris, and their families. Their love for Craig was evident and unyielding, and he will forever hold a special place in their hearts.
As we remember Craig, we celebrate the life of a remarkable individual whose legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire others. His memory will live on in the stories shared and the memories cherished by his family and friends.
