Creston Leon "Bud" Hunt, Sr., 83, of Krum passed away Thursday, January 24, 2013 at his residence. He was born January 7, 1930 in Stroud, OK to Arthur Lee and Leona Selby Hunt. He married Norma Mae Brown on March 14, 1949 in Stroud, OK. He was a member of the Willowwood Church of the Nazarene and a retired truck driver.



Visitation will be Friday, January 25, 2013 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at DeBerry Funeral Directors. Funeral service will be Saturday, January 26, 2013 at 2:30 p.m. at Willowwood Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Mark Ramsey and Rev. Bruce Chamberlain officiating. Burial will follow at Jackson Cemetery in Krum, TX.



He is survived by his wife, Norma of Krum; sons, Leon Hunt and wife Carol of Denton, Wayne Hunt and wife Kay of Denton, Dale Hunt and wife LaFonda of Krum; sister, Ellen (Hootie) McKown; grandchildren, Lesa Hunt DePrater, Jason Kyle Hunt, Cassandra (Cassey) Hunt Ogden and Ryan Casey Hunt and 4 great grandchildren.
