Cristina (Munguia) Billings of Rowlett, TX, beloved Wife, Mother, Sister, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and Daughter passed away early Saturday morning on June 30, 2012. A tragic auto accident in Denison, TX. took her away from her loved ones.
Cristina, also known as "Vita" or "Chris", was born on December 27th, 1943 in San Antonio, TX and is preceded in death by her parents Enrique Munguia Sr. and wife Christina, Granddaughter Angela Nichole Davis, siblings Joe Garcia, Manuel Garcia Sr., Balvin Garcia Sr., Olga Urrutia and two infant sisters. She spent her childhood there until she became the wife and best friend to Don Gilbert Billings for 49 loving years. Chris was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, cooking, painting, playing the piano and was happiest when spending time with her family. She is dearly missed by her children Wilma Ann Hillery and ex-husband Tim, Adele Eleanor Davis and husband Craig, Abraham Aaron Billings and wife Candace, Grace Billings and husband Keith and her brother and sisters, Enrique Munguia Jr., Mary Lucy Martinez, Mary Alice Urrutia, Teresa Radtke, Elvira Robles and her Grandchildren, Great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will have visitation at New Life First Baptist Church at 12 Gregg Rd. Krum, TX. on Saturday July 7, 2012 from 1pm to 2pm. Funeral Service will immediately follow. The burial is at Sanger Cemetery in Sanger, TX.
