Cristina Isabel Smith passed away peacefully in her home in Corinth, TX, on December 20  ^th  , 2016, among family, friends, and loved ones.

Funeral services are scheduled for December 23  ^rd  , 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mark's Catholic Church, with burial to follow at Roselawn.

A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on December 22  ^nd  , 2016, at DeBerry Funeral Home (2025 West University Denton,Tx) with a rosary at 7 p.m.

Cristina was born April 9, 1971 in Laredo, TX to Javier and Rosamaria Martinez.

She graduated from University of Texas at El Paso in 1994. Following graduation, she worked at Principal in Des Moines where she met her husband Bradley. She married Bradley Smith January 31,1998.

Her proudest accomplishment was becoming a mother to her daughter Gabriella.

Cristina was a loving, caring wife, mom, sister and friend. She enjoyed shopping, scrapbooking, and spending time with her family and friends. She loved baking. Everyone received and enjoyed her Christmas cookies. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her and touched her heart.

Cristina is survived by her loving husband of 18 years, Bradley, their child Gabriella; parents Javier and Rosamaria; sister Claudia; brother J.A. (Hayley), as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her nephew Xander; paternal grandparents Ramon and Albina; maternal grandparents Ernesto and Carmela, and other family and friends.
