Obituary
Curtis Roger Shelstad passed away in Sanger on June 12, 2012. He was born June 8, 1931 in Turner, MT to Leonard and Rosina Braunstadter Shelstad. He married Dorothy Sosebee (Shelstad) who preceded him in death. He served in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict as a Fireman. He retired from the Lewisville Post Office as a Mail Carrier and was a member of the Sanger Church of Christ.
The family will be at DeBerry Funeral Directors Thursday night from 6 to 8 PM for visitation. The funeral services will be held at the Sanger Church of Christ on Friday at 10:00 AM with John Payne officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton.
He is survived by; his daughter Carol and husband Mike Keller of Sanger, grandson, Brent Keller and Brandon and wife Jessica Keller, brothers, John Shelstad, Don Shelstad, Keith Shelstad, sisters, Leona Teske, Phyllis Miller, Betty Morris and Connie Shelstad.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, Wife, daughter, Linda Sue Shelstad, and sister, Patsy Thomas.
