Cynthia (Cyndi) Gail Alexander, 50, of Krum passed away Saturday, June 25, 2016 in Denton, Texas. She was born September 7, 1965 in Dallas, Texas to Albert and Emma Petty. She married Philip Alexander August 3, 1985 and had two daughters Makayle and Devin Alexander.
Cyndi had a natural way of making others feel special and important. She was a mentor to several of the employees at CoServ, where she worked for the past 18 years. Cyndi enjoyed outdoor activities, especially boating and fishing with her "fambily". She was the fun Auntie to her nieces and nephews at family gatherings. She was beautiful inside and out.
Cyndi is survived by her husband Philip Alexander, daughters Makayle and Devin Alexander and future son-in-law Taylor Erickson of Krum, parents Albert and Emma Petty, sister Jena Perkins and husband David, brother Buddy Petty and wife Teresa. She is also survived by her parents-in-law Charles and Sandra Alexander, brother-in-law Scott Alexander and his wife Becky, sister-in-law Joan Wright and her husband Brent. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and a plethora of friends.
A celebration of Cyndi's life will be held on July 9, 2016 at First United Methodist Church at 4:30 P.M. in Krum, Texas. Cyndi was an avid animal lover. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the SPCA in her memory
