In loving memory of Cynthia Kay Hundley Rogers, 73, of Denton, who passed away on March 4, 2024, at her home. Born on June 4, 1950, in Denton to James Edward Sr. and Mildred Speake Hundley.
Cynthia, an alumna of Nacogdoches High School and the University of North Texas, pursued a successful career in construction management in Houston, climbing the corporate ladder to become Vice President of Means Knaus, retiring at age 65. Known for her exceptional work ethic, she also embraced her passions for sports, animals, the Alpha Phi community, family, and friendship, leaving behind a legacy of joy and accomplishment. She was the patron of the party and lived a full and successful life.
She is survived by her cherished daughter, Renea Topp Dayton, of Waccabuc, New York, and her family: husband Duncan Dayton, grandchildren Garrett Nelson Dayton and Nicolette Jude Dayton, niece Jayme Lynne Haney with husband Dustin Haney, nephew James Jason Hundley, and other beloved family members.
Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents, her brother James Hundley, Jr., Grady Bishop, Buddy and Elvis Presley.
