Cyril C. Hermes, 78, of Lake Dallas, Texas passed away on August 2, 2015 in at 4:03am at Kindred Hospital in Dallas, Texas. He was born on January 15, 1937 in Lindsay, Texas to Tony and Theresa Hermes. Cyril attended San Jacinto Community College, University of Texas at Arlington and then earning his Doctorate of Chiropractic Degree from Texas Chiropractic College in Houston Texas.

He married Lynette ( Lory ) Sicking on June 22, 1963 in Lindsey, Texas. Together, they opened a Chiropractic Office in Lake Dallas Texas. Cyril, was a Chiropractor for 36 years. He was very involved in the Catholic Church. He loved to go the the Horse Races and Ranger Baseball Games.

He is survived by his daughter, Gina Lynn Robinson of Dallas, Texas, five brothers and one sister, Cecil Hermes ( twin brother ), Mark Hermes, Ralph Hermes, Francis Hermes, Randy Hermes and Rosemary Dankesreiter and two grandchildren Anthony and Luke Robinson. All live in Texas.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Lory Hermes, his mother and father, Tony and Theresa Hermes.

The family will receive friends at DeBerry Funeral Directors on Thursday, August 6, 2105 at DeBerry Funeral Directors from 6-7 PM, a Rosary will be said from 7-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Immaculate Conception Church on Friday, August 7, 2015 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Swisher Cemetery in Lake Dallas, Texas.
