Dale R. Baker, born August 24, 1948, in Lincoln, Nebraska and passed away peacefully on August 11, 2026, in Denton, Texas.
In remembering Dale, one cannot help but be moved by the devotion that marked every chapter of his life. For years, he was the cherished companion and beloved husband of Marilyn Baker, whose partnership with Dale stood as a testament to lasting love and mutual respect. Together, they crafted a life filled with shared dreams, steadfast support, and unspoken understanding that so many admired.
Dale is survived by his wife, Marilyn Baker, and brother, Charles Baker, of Denton, Debra Owens, sister-in-law, of Cross Roads, and nephews, Brian and Jason Owens.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Baker, and his father, Elmer Baker, and brothers-in-laws, Harold, Ricky, Gerald, and Gary Owens.
Dale was a Navy Corpsman during the Vietnam War. Dale later worked for Denton ISD and Fort worth ISD teaching Special Education classes. He also worked for Buffalo Wild Wings and Sam's club in Denton, Texas.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 15, 2026 at 10:00 AM at Faith Tabernacle Assembly of God Church in Denton, Texas. Funeral Services will follow at the Church at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Belew Cemetery in Aubrey, Texas.
