Dale Stoner 60 of Krum passed away at home Saturday, April 22, 2017, ending his courageous battle with cancer.  He was born in Bowie to Melvin McDonald Stoner and Betty Sue Hunt Matlock.  He married Johna Sue Jackson on April 2, 1976.  He was a Superintendent at Atterbury and Grain Inspector for Gavilon Grain Industry.  He was a Christian, Non-Denominational with Pentecostal Roots.  He was a talented Artist preferring Pencil sketching, but writing Poetry was clearly his favorite.

Dale is survived by his wife Sue Stoner of Krum, daughters, Sheila Kennedy and husband Mark of Krum, Kristi Hendricks and husband Tadd of Argyle, sons, James "Howie" Lynch of Krum, Thomas Lynch of Krum, Joshua Stoner and wife Angela of Carrollton, father, Melvin McDonald Stoner of Duncan OK, sisters, Cheryl Purser of Krum, Prudence Bayer of Muenster, Misty Patterson of Alvord, Donna Hutchins of Duncan Okla., brother, Victor Jacomb,  grandchildren Meagan, Ashlan, Sylvie, Madison, Alexis, Gavin, Taylor, Haden, Alyssa, Reed, Kaylee, Connor, Joshua, Macie, Daniel, Collin, Mimi and Julia. Dale also leaves behind numerous family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Sue Hunt Matlock, step-brother, Ronnie Jacomb.

The family will be at DeBerry Funeral Directors Tuesday Night from 6-8 pm for visitation with funeral services to follow Wednesday at 11:00 a.m.  Burial will follow at Jackson Cemetery in Krum.
