Dale White, 91, of Denton, Texas will be laid to rest on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at 11:15 AM at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery. He was born in Dora, New Mexico on October 3, 1932, to Myrtle Jo and Willie L (Blackie) White.

He lived in Denton for a short time, spending most of his life in the Panhandle of Texas, (Perryton, Amarillo, and Lake Meredith), and the last ten years or so in Paris, Texas. He was a veteran of the United States Army, before he spent most of his career in the dry cleaning business, (35 years), and working his way up to General Manager. He finished out his working career and retired from Asarco Copper Refinery, (21 years), in 1998.

He is survived by his wife, Charene, three sisters, Carme, of Eldorado Springs, MO., Carol and her husband, Charlie of Eldorado Springs, MO., Kay and her husband, Jim, also of Eldorado Springs, Mo., five sons, John of Florida, Jerry White and wife Debra of Tennessee, Wesley White and his wife, Susan of Bedford, Virgnia, David White of Denver, Colorado, and Tony White and wife Belle of Wichita Falls, Texas, six daughters, Patty of Denton, and her husband Duane, Dannette of Denton, Patricia of Borger, Tx., Debra of Fritch, Tx., Teresa Lynn and her husband, Tim of Amarillo, Paula and her husband, Scott of Lubbock, twenty-seven grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Myrtle Jo and Blackie, his wife, Muriel, his brothers, Vernie, Raymond, and Calvin, his son, Paul, and daughter, Kathleen.

In life, Dale enjoyed sitting on his porch with a good cup of coffee, or sun tea, or working in his yard, planting or watering one of his fruit trees, or just walking around his place with the wife or one of his kids, that came to visit. Some of his other interests were reading, or watching a good western on TV, or just being interested in what was going on in the world at the time. He will be missed by all who knew him.
