Damian Tierrafria entered into God's care on May 27, 2017. He was born in Denton, Texas 03/31/2016 to Aurelio and Maribel (Manuel) Tierrafria.

Damian was a premature boy who was diagnosed with Schinzencephaly, daily seizures that were hard to control, Diebetes Insipidus, Cerebral Palsy and was blind. His situation was considered very rare, he had been in an out from the hospital for many complications it was a rare birth defect that cause mental, and physical impairments. We never found answers why he was born like that but we were surprised how much he had pushed himself each day to prove people there is always faith and new things to try. Slowly his little brain size wasn't growing how it should from his 6 months to his 1 year it wasn't responding well to his body. He then started changing little by little slowly his little body started shutting down.

Today and every day we honor our son so much who had fought hard. A little boy who didn't deserve this. A little boy who had all the right to live and grow up to have a normal childhood.

Today and every day I pray for those still fighting, for the survivor's and I honor those warriors who are no longer with us.

A rosary will be said at DeBerry Funeral Directors on Wednesday May 31, 2017 at 6:00 P.M. Visitation will be from 7-8 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday June 1, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. at The Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Denton.
