Dana Lynn Crozier, 51, of Denton, passed away in Corinth, Texas on Wednesday, May 15, 2024. She was born at Flow Memorial Hospital in Denton, Texas on June 9, 1972 at 9:21 AM to Edwin Crozier and Brenda Crozier Garland.
Dana was a member of First Baptist Church in Denton, Texas. She graduated from Denton High School in 1994. Special Olympics has been a part of her life since she was 10. She and her father traveled all over the United States, and they even went as far as Dublin, Ireland. She was an avid sports fan of the Texas Rangers, Dallas Cowboys, and the Dallas Stars. She was a huge Fillies fan and everyone loved her and she loved everyone. She greeted everyone with a huge hug and kiss and an even bigger smile. Dana's laugh was infectious and brought joy to everyone who came in contact with her.
The family will be at DeBerry Funeral Directors on Monday, May 20th, from 5PM - 7PM for visitation. Funeral service will be at 1PM on Tuesday, May 21, in the chapel at DeBerry's with interment to follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
She is preceded in death by father, Edwin A. Crozier, Paternal Grandparents, Edwin N. and Phyllis Crozier, and Maternal Grandparents, Dick Pearson, and Lorraine and Bill Karl, and survived by her mother and stepfather, Brenda and Gene Garland of Denton, her 3 younger sisters, Denise and Jason of Harker Heights, Dawn and Peter Chapman of Frisco, and Delanie and Edwin Scherpenisse of Lantana, niece, Kennedy and nephews, Ryder and Hayden, Aunt Linda Higgins and Aunt Karen Crozier of Denton, Uncle Chuck Crozier of Fort Worth, and numerous cousins, and stepbrothers and sisters-in-law, Chris and Rachelle Garland of Denton, Casey and Lisa Garland of Dallas, and Chase and Brittany Garland of Prosper, and their children.
