Dani was born in Dallas, Texas to Jackie and Margie Stanley. She passed away peacefully at 2:30 in the afternoon, while hospitalized for COVID pneumonia and surrounded by loved ones in Fort Worth, Texas.

She is known by some as "Mama Bear" because she opened her heart and home to all kids, sons and their friends, and grandchildren, and she raised boys who were not hers by birth, providing whatever they needed. When others speak of Dani, they talk about her good attitude and resilient mind, despite illness and trials associated with a kidney transplant in 2015.

Dani met her husband Jon when she was just 21, and they married in June of 2006. She was Jon's true partner in life - at work, with the family and on the back of his Harley. She is dearly missed.

She is survived by her parents, Mr. Jackie Wayne and Mrs. Margie Elizabeth Stanley of Springtown, Texas. Her loving husband, Jonathan David Gumfory of Krum, Texas, her son, Dakota Wayne Gumfory of Krum, and also Corey V. Lee Gumfory of Krum, Texas, Dillon Ray Gumfory of Arlington, Texas, Matthew Scott Gumfory of Fort Worth, Texas, and Justin Wayne Burris of Fort Worth, Texas, and brother Chris Stanley of Gilmer, Texas

A Celebration of Dani's life will be held on March 11, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Cristian Center Assembly of God Church in Krum, Texas.
