Danielle Walker Hanneken, 71, of Carrolton, Texas passed away at her home on October 23, 2019. She was born on October 23, 1948 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Burrell and Virginia (Horn) Walker.

Danielle, also known as "Dani" was a life- long learner. She was always excited for the next adventure. She was an entrepreneur and business owner for many years. Her hobbies included reading, writing, hiking and being outdoors. She loved music and she loved to sing. She loved making gingerbread houses and sugar cookies each Christmas with her grandbabies. More than anything, she loved any chance she could spend with her two daughters.

She is survived by her daughters, Stacey Nusbaum and husband Walter of Denton, Kristina Brown and husband Christopher of Denton, sister Nicki Gurley and husband Tim of Dallas, grandchildren Sarah, Audrey, Jackson, James and Georgia Brown, Whitney, Nick, and Josh Watts and brother-in law, Ray Perkins of San Angelo, Texas. She was preceded in death by her mother and father and sister, Lesalea Perkins.

A celebration of life service will be held in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton on Friday, November 1st at 2:00 p.m.
