Danita Condray, 61, of Denton passed away at home on March 4, 2018. She was born on August 26, 1956 to Robert and Nadine (Fillpot) Bettis in Hereford, Texas.

She married Curtis M. Condray in Lubbock, Texas on October 17, 1980.   One of her biggest passions were her many "kids". She was never without a cat or dog throughout her life and loved being around them. She also had a passion for baking, especially deserts and specialty cakes. When the family had a special occasion, she would make the most beautiful cakes. She was a devoted wife and loved Curt, her family, her country and her God.

She is survived by her parents, Robert and Nadine Bettis of Denton, brothers Bobby; Cody and his wife, Nadine Bettis; Ezra and his wife, Terri Bettis and her "kids" Desire and Sweet Pea.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Curt Condray.

The family will receive friends at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Texas on Saturday, March 10, 2018 from 2-4 PM.

In lieu of flowers, Danita's request was to have donations made to the Linda McNatt Animal Shelter and New Century Hospice.
