Danny Wayne Bird of Tecumseh, OK passed from this life, Sunday September 2 ^nd , 2018 in Shawnee, OK. Danny was born October 19 ^th , 1958 in Denton, TX to Dan LaRoy Bird and Barbara Ann (Sons) Bird.

Danny leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Brenda C. Bird. They were married July 1 ^st , 1985. He also leaves behind one daughter, Amanda Kay Riley and husband Eddie Matthew of Aubrey, Tx. Papa will forever be remembered in the hearts of his grandchildren, Cheyenne Nicole (Chigger) Neely, Katy Elaine Riley, Jacob Matthew Riley & Breanna Jo Riley. Danny is survived by is mother Barbara Ann McCool of Tecumseh, Ok. One Step-brother, Mike McCool, two step sisters, Tina McDuffee and Angela Spellman all of Oklahoma. As well as a host of cousins that that were more like brothers and sisters.

Danny was preceded in death by his father, Dan LaRoy Bird, one brother, DeWayne LaRoy Bird, step-father, Morris McCool, grandparents, Edgar and Velma Sons.

Danny enjoyed hunting elk, deer & bear in the mountains of New Mexico and Colorado. As well as fishing everywhere along the way.

A memorial service will be held graveside at 10:30 A.M., Saturday, September 22 ^nd , 2018 at the Bolivar Cemetery in Bolivar, Texas. Cremation was entrusted to Cooper Funeral Home in Tecumseh, OK.
