Danny Ray Eggleston
June 26, 1958 – April 11, 2025

Danny Ray Eggleston, born on June 26, 1958, a dedicated, loving husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on April 11, 2025. He was married to Michele on June 7, 1992, and together they raised their family in Krum, TX.

Danny had a successful career in welding, with his last role as a Welding Field Installation Supervisor for new construction at DFW airport for baggage equipment. He was passionate about his work and took great pride in his contributions to the industry.

Outside of work, Danny enjoyed hunting, fishing, and outdoor activities with his family. He loved raising cattle and horses and riding his Harley motorcycle, a passion he had since childhood. Danny was coming up on 37 years of sobriety, a testament to his faith and the grace that guided him. Danny loved to share his life experiences to help others. He had a big personality, was a presence, and always had a story to share.

Danny fought a courageous 12-year battle with cancer. Despite the challenges he faced, Danny remained resilient and continued to live his life to the fullest. His strength and determination were an inspiration to all who knew him.

Danny was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Wildon Eggleston; his brother, Arthur Joe; and his sister, Linda Martinez.
He is survived by his loving wife, Michele Eggleston; his brother Billy Bob Eggleston and wife Gloria of Denton, TX; his brother Perry Eggleston and wife Christine of Sanger, TX; his son Danny Ray II "Charlie" Eggleston and wife Katriona of Dallas, TX; his son Cody Eggleston and wife Paige of Godley, TX; his daughter Ashley Keeton and husband Josh of Denton, TX; his grandsons Keaton Eggleston of Godley, TX; and Austin and Waylan Keeton of Denton, TX.

A memorial service for Danny will be held on Thursday, April 17th at 11:00 AM at DeBerry Funeral Home Chapel in Denton, TX. Danny will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
