Darrell Duane Mitchell, 54, of Valley View passed away on October 23, 2019, IN Denton. He was born on June 10, 1965 in Jacksonville Beach, Florida to Larry and Tessa (Beam) Mitchell.

Darrell worked for 35 years as a sub contractor delivering Dallas Morning News. He was married to his wife Debbie for 21 years. He is greatly loved and will be missed by all his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie Mitchell of Valley View, sons; Darrell Mitchell and wife, Kendra of Blue Ridge, Texas and Daniel Mitchell and his wife, Angel of Colorado City, Colorado, his mother, Tessa Mitchell of Gainesville, sister, Sandi Clement and brother-in-law Fred Lowery , of Gainesville and six grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his father, Larry Mitchell.

A memorial service will be held at the Hillcrest Church of Christ in Gainesville, Texas on Tuesday October 29 at 6:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, we ask for donations to American Diabetic Association in Darrell's name.
