Darryll Lynn Sistrunk, 71, of Denton passed away on May 22, 2018 in Denton, Texas. He was born on April 29, 1947 to Travis and Billie Jean (Cornett) Sistrunk in Dallas, Texas.

Darryll married Jeanne Lynn Swirczynski in 1997 on Nassau Beach.  He loved his Harley Motorcycle that he nick- named "Betty Lou". He enjoyed golf and loved to travel he also loved his dog, Max.

He is survived by his wife, Jeanne of Denton, daughter, Wendy Perez of Howe, Texas, mother, Billie Sistrunk sister, Sherryll Greene of Forney, Texas, four grandchildren and one great-grandchild, Michael Forrest, Ashleigh Forrest, Candice Radford and Lauren Zepeda and great-grandson, Corbyn Forrest.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Jennifer and his father.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 from noon to 1:00 PM at DeBerry Funeral Directors. Funeral Services will be held in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors following the visitation, at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Denton, Texas.
