David Harold Brown, Jr., 50, of Fort Worth, formerly of Denton, passed away on January 24, 2019 in Fort Worth. He was born in Washington D.C. on December 30, 1968 to David and Jeanne (Powers) Brown.

David went to Forsan, Upper St. Clair and Big Spring High Schools, was a journeyman electrician, worked in construction for numerous years; was a writer/publisher at Plainly Wrapped Brown Toast; writer/vocalist at Texas Toast; former retired Owner/Operator at DBX Photography; studies psychology at Texas Women's University and was in the United States Navy. David was surrounded by family on his death.

He is survived by his wife, Serena, of Fort Worth, daughter, Maya Michelle Brown, of North Carolina, step-daughter, Morgan; his father, David Brown, Sr., of Denton and his brother, Joseph Michael Brown of Krum; a niece, Jadyn Michelle Brown and a nephew, Jarrett Dawson Brown both of Krum; Cousin, Patrick Reese and wife, Melinda and their 3 sons.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Jeanne Brown in 2003.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Texas from 6-8p.
