David Allen Carlos, 82, of Corinth, Texas passed away on October 13, 2024, peacefully at his home. He was born in Moberly, Missouri on April 16, 1942, to Leslie and Maxine Carlos.

Gail married David June of 1964. Married 60 years. David served in the Navy for 4 years. His experience in the Navy working in the Crash Crew on the USS Ticonderoga gave him firefighting experience.  He became a Federal Fireman where he worked for 30 years.  He started as a hose man and worked his way to Assistant Fire Chief.

He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed camping out in the woods with family and friends.  After retiring from the Fire Department, he went to work for First American Title Insurance Co where he worked for 10 years as a dispatcher.  He retired in 2005 and moved to Texas.  As most of you who know him, he loved to tease and joke with all his friends.

The family would like to thank all involved in his end of care. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to your favorite charity or the ASCPA.

David is survived by his wife, Gail, of Corinth, Tx, daughter, Tamara Carlos of Denton, Tx., sister, Debbie Carlos of Missouri, brothers, Greg Carlos of Missouri, and Larry Carlos of Oregon.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 1, 2024, at 2:00 PM., in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Texas.
