David Lee Cross, 73, of Little Elm passed away on September 19, 2016 in Denton, Texas. He was born on January 24, 1943 in Denton, Texas to Earl Ray and Lillie Pearl Cross. David married his sweetheart Ollie Choate in 1962 in Navo, Texas.

David attended Aubrey Public Schools and was a Baptist. He worked in Landscaping. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

David is survived by his wife of 54 years Ollie Cross, daughter Betty Gaskill and husband Miles, sister Patsy Sprayberry and husband Jerry, four brothers, Charles Cross and wife Barbara , Jimmy Cross and wife Sandra, Jerry Cross, Marion Cross, three grand-children, Brian Cross, Charlotte Henderson, Colt Henderson, three great grand-children, Kira Bruce, Sara Cross and Amanda Cross.

He is preceded in death by his parents, son, David Cross, sisters, Lillie and Betty Jo, brother, Kenneth.

Visitation will be Thursday September 22, 2016 at DeBerry Funeral Directors from 6-8 P.M. A Graveside service will be held Friday September 23, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at Belew Cemetery in Aubrey, Texas.
