David Whytt Ellis, 81, of Denton passed away on August 30, 2026 in Denton, Texas. He was born in Denton, Texas on July 20, 1945 to John and Ruth Ellis.

David served in the US Army during the Vietnam War and later worked as a massage therapist for many years. He was married to Barbara Ellis for 50 years. He enjoyed working outdoors and was a member of Willowwood Church of the Nazarene. He enjoyed helping others and worshiping God. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
