David Ray Foster, age 77, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on August 24, 2016 in Tioga, TX. He was born in Boliver, Texas to George and Betty Foster on May 23, 1939.
He served his country in the Air Force as a navigator. He worked as a Ranch Manager and for the last 17 years as a Machinist at Magna Fab.
He was a gifted gardener who found much enjoyment outside in the yard and garden.
He was an avid sports fan and loved cheering on both the Texas Longhorns and Dallas Cowboys.
He was preceded in death by his father, George Foster and brothers, Gary and James Foster.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Virginia Foster, mother, Betty Foster and a brother Dwayne and wife Jeannie, daughter, Renee Farmer and husband Glenn,sons, Billy Harmon and wife Diane, Randy Foster and wife Joann, David Foster and wife Beth, Casey Foster, Dennis Foster and Phillip Foster, 16 Grandchildren, Angie, Ashley, Brittany, Jennifer, Niki, Melissa, Jessica, Amber, Leann, Kent, Kim, Jeff, Myla, David Jr., Racheal and Shannon, 24 Great-Grandchildren, Callie, Austin, Tyler, Hailey, Hayden, Caden, Cambree, Zack, Maddie, Emalyn, Landry, Collyns, Camryn, Ethan, Emery Riley, Zane, Capri , Jaden, Austin, Kristen Bethany, Dillan, Colton, numerous nieces, nephews and friends
Visitation for David will be from 10-11:00 a.m., Monday, August 29, 2016 at the Mount Carmel Baptist Church east of Tioga on FM 121, Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at the Tioga Cemetery.
