David Robert Henninger (Blanton) of Denton, Texas died October 10, 2023 at the age of 62. He is survived by his mother Helen Cutler, sisters Ana Cutler and Tania Coombes, nephew John Coombes, brothers Mike McDaniel and Hank Amor, and son Travis Pernock. David is also survived by his loving partner, Kim Massay, her daughter, Nicole, and three grandchildren.

David was born September 29, 1961 in Austin, Texas. His family moved to Plano, Texas in 1973 where he graduated from Plano Senior High School in 1980. In his later years, he worked as a correctional officer at the Polunsky Unit in Livingston, Texas. Finally he worked in North Texas at the Denton State Supported Living Center.

He was preceded in death by his father Henry Henninger and younger brother Johnny Blanton.
