David Dean Melton passed away in Denton, Texas on Friday, September 29, 2023 from complications of COPD. He was born in Kearney, Missouri on December 16, 1945 to Claude and Marguerite Melton.

David enjoyed music. He loved to play the guitar and sing his favorites by Waylon, Willie and the boys.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jim Melton.

David is survived by his wife of 30 years, Becky, his daughter Angie Carver and husband Tony of Whitesboro, step-daughter, Dana Duckworth of Allen, 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

He will be dearly missed.
