David Ulysses Welch, 74, of Sanger, TX, passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2016. He was born May 5, 1941 to Lloyd Welch and Alice Butler Welch in Vinton, IA. David married Suzanne April Regnier in 1965 in Cedar Rapids, IA.

He first served in the U.S. Air Force after discharge he continued his education at U.N.T and received his Doctorate in Psychology he then joined the U.S. Army as a Chaplain. David was a member at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

David is survived by his wife Suzanne Welch of Sanger, three daughters Kathleen Welch-Bosgraaf from ILL, Mary Welch from Sanger and Christie McCrindle of Denton,TX, one brother Jon Welch of Byron, Minn., ten grandchildren and four great-grand children.

He is preceded in death by his parents, two sons Michael Welch and Mark Welch and one brother LaVerne Welch


Viewing at 9:00 A.M. Saturday, January 30, 2016 at the LDS Bldg. Funeral service will be Saturday, January 30, 2016 at LDS Bldg on Malone St. at 10:00 A.M. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton, TX.
