Debra Ann Harper, 68, passed away peacefully in Celina, Texas on Tuesday, August 12, 2025. She was born in Fort Worth, Texas on May 4, 1957, to Robert and Mildred Davis.

Debra lived a life filled with love and a lot of giving. She enjoyed cooking, singing karaoke, playing dominoes, talking on the phone, enjoying slot machines, and being surrounded by her friends and family. Her favorite thing was seeing and hearing about her kids and grandkids. Known for her famous "love pats," Debra had a way of making everyone feel special. She loved to tell jokes, share a laugh, and could turn strangers into friends in just one conversation.

Debra believed in God and loved Jesus. She often spoke about her loved ones in Heaven and how she looked forward to seeing them again. She was the baby of her family and the last of her siblings to go, now reunited with her parents, her husband Cliff Harper, and her sisters Carolyn Lester, Glenda Nichols, Barbara Lang, and her brother Bobby Davis.

In her last month, even while in pain, she filled the halls with laughter, making all her nurses, techs, and doctors laugh with her quick wit and endless jokes. That's who she was — someone who thought about others before herself, who would give the shirt off her back to help someone in need, and who loved deeply and without hesitation.

Debra is survived by her daughter Kristy Garcia and husband Chelsey Watkins, and their children Jorden, Josten, and Addy; daughter Michelle Harper and partner Jarett Monschke, and their children Kinley and Kinnedy; daughter Christina Harper; and son Bubba Harper.

Visitation will be held at DeBerry Funeral Home from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Sunday, August 17, 2025, with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM. In her honor, we invite you to share a story, a laugh, or even give someone a "love pat." If you know, you know.
