Delarece Viola Cooper, 79 of Denton, Texas went to be with the Lord on July 15, 2018 in Denton, Texas. She was born on November 23, 1938 in Stamford, Texas to Searn Westergaard and Birtie Viola (Drury) Hansen.

Delarece married the love of her life James Cooper in 1958 in Anson, Texas where they raised 4 children. Delarece was a devoted wife, mom, grandmother and Christian that enjoyed traveling as an antique dealer.

Delarece is survived by her daughter Robbin Vincent, son, Brad Cooper, eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, James Cooper, daughter, Rhonda Hestand son, Charlie Cooper, and son-in-law, Darrell Vincent.

The family will receive friends from 8-9 A.M. on Thursday, July 19, 2018 funeral services will start at 9:00 A.M. both at Singing Oaks Church of Christ. Burial will follow in Abilene at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery at 2:00 P.M.
