Delores Ruth Laird, 73, of Denton, passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at Denton Regional Medical Center. She was born May 16, 1942 in Denison to Vernon and Ruth Schindler Foster. She had retired from the D.I.S.D. as a Child Nutritionist. She married Norvil Laird on July 10, 1961 in Denton.

Visitation will be Friday, August 28, 2015 from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at DeBerry Funeral Directors. Funeral service will be Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 2:30 P.M. in the chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors. Burial will follow at Tyson Cemetery in Cooke County.

Delores is survived by her husband, Norvil of Denton; son, Eric and wife Tambi Laird of Krum; sisters, Bobbie Stout of Denton, Darlene Smith of Denton, and Rita Derby of Denton; brother, Larry Foster of Princeton; grandchildren, Erika, Luke, Scott and Michael, and 4 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Laura S. Laird-Haynie, sister, Michelle Matlock, brother, Eddie Foster and grandchildren, Max and Blake.
