Deloris Mae Doggett Hancock who was born October 16, 1932 passed away January 26, 2016 at home. She left this world to be with our Lord, Jesus Christ, and the love of her life, her husband Ted.

Deloris "Cotton" lived to love and care for others. Her nurturing spirit and talent for cooking made the Hancock home a welcoming sanctuary to extended family and friends alike. Cotton was an example to all who knew her and she taught the Golden Rule.

Deloris is survived by three daughters, Barbara and husband David Johnson, Marty Swinford and Kathy and husband William Kamp, one sister Ann Bennefield and her daughter Kelli Calkins. She was "Granny" to five grandchildren Jeremy, Becky, Nancy, Vicky and Chester and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday January 29, 2016 from 6-8 P.M. at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Texas. Service will be Saturday January 30, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at the DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Texas. Burial will be at Grove Hill Cemetery in Dallas, Texas at 2:00 P.M.
