Dian Molinar, 78, of Denton, Texas, passed away Sunday, November 20, 2022. She was born in Gainesville, Texas, to Jack and Jane O'Brien. She was a proud Era Hornet and UNT alumna. As an educator, she positively influenced the lives of countless students and peers while working for school districts across New Mexico and Texas. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Denton.
Dian is remembered with love by her daughter Monica Molinar of Denton, stepson, Gregory Molinar of Albuquerque, New Mexico, daughter-in-law Emily Molinar, and grandchildren Lexie and Lucas of Little Elm, sister Helen Kupper (Tom), of Lewisville, sister-in-law Yolanda Scheihing (Jim), of San Francisco, brothers-in-law Richard Pacheco of Arlington, Texas, Don Pruitt of Phoenix, Arizona, and Buddy Merrifield of Sayre, Oklahoma, and many nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. She was proceeded in death by her beloved husband, Jose (Tony) Molinar, son Michael Molinar, and her parents.
A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at 11:00 A.M., Deacon (TBD) will officiate the service.
