Diane Elizabeth Porter McDurmon passed away peacefully on August 02, 2024 surrounded by her family in Denton, TX.

Diane was born on March 09, 1945 in Saginaw, Michigan to Wayland Lowell porter and Beryl Arlene Porter Dennings. She later loved to learn, she took many college courses and always maintained summa cum laude. She then worked for Texas Instruments for 27 years as the Executive Secretary.

Diane married the love of her life Ronald McDurmon on August 03, 1962. They built a beautiful life together and shared the greatest love for 62 years.

If you knew Diane then you know she's never met a stranger and loved everyone! She herself was so easy to love and was loved by so many. She was the true example of loving unconditionally, selflessness, and beauty inside and out.

Diane loved jewelry. She loved to wear it, and shop for it. In particular she loved her trips to Sam Moon. She also loved crafting, antique shopping, every holiday, and any time she got to spend with her family.

Diane is proceeded in death by her granddaughter, Amanda Diane Powers. She is survived by her husband, Ronald Britton McDurmon, her sister Denise Guerra, her children, Ronald Britton McDurmon Jr, Carol Elaine Powers, Matthew Leon McDurmon, Grandchildren, Joshua Lee Powers and wife Cassie Powers, Ashleigh Laine McDurmon and fiancé Joshua Barnwell, and Logan Matthew McDurmon, great grandchildren, Bryson Evan Taylor, Liam James Taylor, Harlow Grace Taylor, Bridgett Lynn Powers, Parker Lynn Powers, and Lynnlee Diane Powers, and many beloved nieces , nephews, cousins and close friends.
