Dimas C. Wences, 46 of Denton, Texas went to be with the Lord on December 25, 2018 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on April 3, 1972 in Morelita, Guerrero, Mexico to Dimas Wences Alonzo and Leocadia Cortez. Dimas married the love of his life Dora Gamez on April 3, 2009 in Denton, Texas.

Dimas is survived by his wife, Dora Wences, children, Dimara Wences, Dimas Wences III, Megan Medina, Marc Medina, Melissa Medina, sister, Sotera Wences, brothers, Publio Wences, Domingo Wences, J. Isabel Wences, Telesforo Wences and Juan C. Rodriguez.

He is preceded in death by his father, Dimas Wences Alonzo, his mother, Leocadia Cortez, and two brothers, Antioco Wences and Omar Wences.

The family will receive friends on Friday, December 28, 2018 from 4:00p to 8:00p in the DeBerry Funeral Chapel with Rosary said at 6:00p. Mass will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 10:00a at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton, Texas. Pallbearers will be Publio Wences, Domingo Wences, J. Isabel Wences, Telesforo Wences, Juan C. Rodriguez and Pablo Wences.
