Dollie Jean Swafford 78 of Ponder passed away Saturday afternoon, March 25, 2017 at Presbyterian Hospital in Denton.  She was born March 26, 1938 in Gainesville to O.B. Coulter and Alma Kerr Coulter.   She married Don Swafford on September 29, 1956 in Ponder.  Dollie was a retired Beauty Operator, she enjoyed baking for people and for church activities.  She was active in her grand-kids and great grand-kids ballgames.

The family will be at the Denton County Cowboy Church in Ponder for visitation Monday night from 6-8:00 p.m. for visitation.  Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at the Denton County Cowboy Church with burial to follow at the Eakins Cemetery in Ponder.

Dollie is survived by her husband Don of Ponder, daughter, Donna and husband Rick Crider of Ponder, son, Kelly Swafford and wife Kim  of Ponder, sisters, Janie Ferryman of Gainesville, Patricia Gibson of Gainesville, 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son Tommy Swafford.
