Obituary

Don A. Neely of Justin passed away suddenly on October 29, 2016 at Good Samaritan Village in Denton, Texas. He was born December 10, 1927 in Nocona, Texas. He was the son of M.A. Neely and Lady G. Abney Neely. Don married Shirley Grey Robinson on December 4, 1951 in Ft. Worth, Texas.

Don was known for his "one hell of a good eggnog" and hospitality. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was stationed in Germany for three years. After his service he was a project engineer for APAC Construction Company in Dallas and was the engineer on the first road constructed in Trophy Club. He was a member of The Justin Masonic Lodge and The Scottish Rites.

Don is survived by his wife of 64 years, Shirley, three sons, Dan Neely of Austin, Phyllis Neely, Chris and Debbie Neely, Tony and Ana Neely all of Justin, five grandchildren, Dana and Michael Perrin, Patrick and Misty Neely, Barry Neely and Laura Morse of all of Justin, Paige and Evan Brassart of Denton, Taylor Neely and Luis Reyes of Farmers Branch. Five great-grandchildren who were the light of his life, Cash, Leyton, Carli, Nolan and Landri, brother, O'San Neely of Ponder, Texas and loving caregiver, Samantha White.

A special thanks to his many friends and helpers at Good Samaritan and to his three table mates.

A private family graveside will be held at a later date.
