Donald Franklin Gill, Sr., 85, of Denton passed away on February 2, 2025. He was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on March 30, 1939, to Walter and Clista (Price) Gill.

Don was the owner and founder of Gill Builders and Specialty Contracting. He spent his life building homes for families to make memories in. His other passion in life was his faith. He was a member of Denton Bible Church, and an avid member of the Gideons.

Donald is survived by his wife, Pat Gill, of Krum, daughter, Robin Phillips of Denton, son, Don Gill, of Krum, Texas, sister, Charlotte Schwedland of Indianapolis, Indianna.
He was preceded in death by his son, Tom Gill.

He has 4 granddaughters, and 2 grandsons, followed by 4 great granddaughters, and one great grandson.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February15, 2025, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors.
