Donald Lee Hoffpauir, a beloved husband, father, grandfather and proud veteran, passed away on April 7, 2026, in Lewisville, Texas. Born on December 31, 1947, in Lake Charles, Louisiana, Donald’s life was marked by dedication to his family, his country, and his community.
Donald served honorably in the Air Force, exemplifying commitment and patriotism throughout his military career. His service stands as a testament to his character and devotion to his nation.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jana Hoffpauir, and his cherished daughters, Kimberly Halverson & Kristy Hoffpauir, and grandchildren Sarah Halverson and Isaiah Hoffpauir. Their bond was a source of great joy and strength for Donald, and they carry forward his legacy with deep love and respect.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Monroe and Hazel Hoffpauir, whose memory he honored throughout his life.
A graveside service to commemorate Donald’s life and legacy will be held on May 8, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery, located at 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75211. The service will provide an opportunity for family, friends, and all who knew Donald to pay their respects and celebrate his life.
