Donald Ray McLeod, 84, of Bowie, TX, formerly of Denton, passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2022. He was born in Denton, TX on September 4, 1937 to Howard Ray McLeod and Emma Lois Cogdell McLeod.

He served in the U.S. Army until 1962. He then worked as a mechanic for Calvert Automotive.

Donald was a member of the Old Alton Baptist Church. He enjoyed coffee and collecting antiques.

He is survived by his sister Wilma Walker and her husband Ronald Walker of Decatur, TX, and nephews Glen and Joe Walker.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ray and Emma McLeod.

A funeral service will be held at the DeBerry Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at 3:00 PM. A visitation will take place an hour prior to the service at 2:00 PM. Burial will take place at Old Alton Cemetery following the service.
