Donald Robert Morris 73 of Argyle passed away Monday morning, January 20, 2014, at Denton Regional Medical Center. He was born September 14, 1940 in Indianapolis, Ind. to Emmett and Hazel Parisho Morris. He graduated from Putnam City High School and attended Oklahoma State University.


He married Crystal Elaine Allison in Oklahoma City, OK on December 15, 1962. They are members of the Church of the First Born. Don was a member of the Pilots Association and was a retired Captain Airline Pilot for Continental Airlines. Don has always enjoyed socializing and helping others any way he could in his community. He will be greatly missed.


The family will be at DeBerry Funeral Directors Wednesday evening from 5 to 7pm to receive family and friends. Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 23, 2014 in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors with burial at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Oklahoma City at 3:00 p.m.


Don is survived by his wife, Crystal Elaine Morris, daughter, Misti Dawn Edwards and husband Ed, sons, Monty Glen Morris and wife Kelly, Mark Emmett Morris and wife Melissa, nephew Jeff Allison and 8 grandchildren.
