Donald Joseph Personett Jr. (Joe) passed away in Irving, Texas on Friday August 29, 2025. He was born in Kansas City, Kansas to Donald Personett Sr. and Rebecca Henson Personett. Joe enjoyed spending time with his son and cooking for his family. He was strong in his faith and it was very important to him. He enjoyed watching football, especially when his son played. He graduated from UNT in 2011 and was very proud of the accomplishment. He graduated from Ryan High School in 1998 and still has many close friends.

A celebration of life will be held from 12PM to 2PM, Saturday, September 6, 2025 at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton.

Joe is survived by his son Mason Scott Personett, his parents Donald Personett Sr (Joan) and Rebecca Personett (Joyce), sisters Jennifer Personett and Amanda Personett (Shastie), as well as many close friends.
