Donald Ray Ruyle, 70, of Denton passed away on August 6, 2016 in Denton, Texas. He was born in Melissa, Texas on June 20, 1946 to Melvin and Emma (Roberts) Ruyle. Don served in the U.S. Air Force, a Vietnam Veteran and was retired from the US Postal Service.
Don was a man of simple pleasures for life. One was going out to dance very often you could find him floating around on a local dance floor enjoying the music, people and conversations. When not on a dance floor he was enjoying cards or bowling with friends and family. If he wasn't dancing or playing cards you could definitely hear him talking your ears off about baseball (Rangers), the Cowboys and politics. Don loved his family with all that he was and always had his door open when you needed it. His hugs and love for life were contagious. He had a love for Mexican food, bargain shopping, and Christmas.
He is survived by his stepdaughter, Amber and Douglas Gerzmehle of Pryor, Ok, sons; Adam and Lillie Ruyle of Madill, OK. and Aaron and Kristin Ruyle of Green Forest, Ark. sister, Connie Marsh of Denton, TX, brothers; Ronald Ruyle of Carrollton, TX, Lonnie Ruyle of Pioneer Valley, TX, Marvin Ruyle of Aubrey, TX and Arvin Ruyle of Denton, TX and eight grandchildren.
