Donald Arthur Strobel, 76 of Denton, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, June 12, 2020. He was born in Buffalo, New York on August 12, 1943 to Arthur T. Strobel and Beatrice Margaret (O'Leary) Strobel.
He married Jean Elizabeth Egloff on December 31, 1962 in Kenmore, NY at St. John's Catholic Church. Donald retired after 35 years of dedicated service in the Real Estate Development Division for Xerox and for the last 10 years was a beloved crossing guard for the Corinth Police Department, stationed in front of Hawk Elementary.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mark Catholic Church with Father George presiding at 10 a.m. on Wednesday June 17 th .
Donald was preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Beatrice, son, Jeffrey and brother Jim. He is survived by his wife, Jean Strobel of Denton and daughters Melissa Rice (husband, Dan) and Patricia Chapman (husband, Scott) and daughter in law Tammy. Brothers and sisters, Peggy, Linda, Michael, Shelly, Ginny and Tim. Grandchildren, Ryan, Lauren, Christopher, Michael and Connor, and Great Grandson Everett.
Memorials may be made in lieu of flowers to Corinth Police Department or Saint Mark Catholic Church.
