Obituary
Donald Wayne Swatloski, 65, of Denton passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2014 in Denton. Donald was born on June 19, 1948 to Johnnie and Rosie Swatloski in Marlin, Texas. Donald married Joyce Marie Poehls on August 3, 1968 in Marlin, Texas.
He worked for UNT in the Computing Center for 37 years and was a member of the Army Reserves for 27 years.
There will be a rosary service held in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors at 6pm Wednesday, June 11, 2014. Visitation will follow after the rosary until 8 pm. There will be a Funeral Mass held at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at 10:00 am on Thursday, June 12, 2014. Burial will follow at 2:30 pm at the DFW National Cemetery.
Donald is survived by his wife, Joyce Swatloski; daughters, Cynthia Hamilton and husband Joe, and Cheryl Swatloski; son, Daniel Swatloski and wife Victoria; sister, Agnes Nowaski; brother, John Swatloski and wife Pat; 14 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
